Back to Basics - And Then Some...I got a message this morning from an irish online buddy whom I frequently free-battle with.
"a lot of the squads were talking about starting battles with only hound assembly that you buy in the shop and no custom builds. If your squad is interested let me know and I'll pass it around, thanks"
The core problem , as we know with Chromehounds is that there is always a huge divide in fairness in battles and war missions, DD's/Base Rushers/Raptors and other game spoiling builds have rendered and tarnished the enjoyment factor of this great game. I'm not ashamed to say CH is still my favourite title on the 360 so far, but even I agree that it's becoming a monster of reverse enjoyment value due to people exploiting builds and therefore the game.
Would it be practical for us/me to look for squads that put down such rules as above? As there are more emerging from what I hear on the grapevine. Would it coax some more of us back into playing war games, knowing that both sides were evenly balanced, played in the spirit of the game and had an equal chance of victory?
Another idea that I had from this would be to find/send a representative from/to each country in the game, form them under the title of:
The Tarakian Crusade
The Moskoj Crusade
The Sal-Kar Crusade
This way we have a 'branch' and outlet in each country and a potential further 40 Member slots (Inc current 20) (Which would at the moment be filled by recruits who are looking for squads mainly from free battle recruitment channels).
Benefits
* Further training from higher rank members for the recruits.
* Current members would not technically leave the crusade when leaving a country or their current clan, they will always find a home in any country they end up in. Plus as well it gives us current veterans the free-will to move around a little should we wish.
* Easy Integration from one Crusade to another for ease of buying parts and experience, remember when we were new and couldn't fit/work that first infra-red sensor?
* The Crusade would grow in numbers very quickly and especially as a reputable and resourceful support clan. Chromehounds is a game that a lot of people had bought for them at Christmas time and at the moment I can't remember seeing so many recruits on Free Battles. it would be an excellent opportunity to make the game more active and spread the word of The Crusade.
I'd be interested to know what people thought about a Crusade in each country most of all here.
I am not being a total optimist about all this though, I have had my dose of realism for the day! I know for many of you this game has come largely to the end of it's play-life and you want to concentrate on other games, that's cool - If we're still supporting Chromehounds actively though it deserves a little attention and that's all I'm doing here.
