There are plently of tutorials out there, www.dafont.com and www.deviantart.com are good for downloading fonts and cool brushes |

thanks, but i havin difficulties downloading photoshop, is there any other software that is similar, free and 100% mac os 10 compatiable |

i have to disagree.....paintshop pro really is a bad bit of kit when you compare it to photoshop its easier to understand at first but i don't think theres much you can do on it |

Indeed, the only real thing to use for graphics is Adobe Photoshop, its the market standard for design. Every magazine, book and website you've seen has been most likely designed using PS, thats why it costs around £500. 
You can get it for free using a P2P program however.
