Immys Tounament - ResultsIt was a cold Easter Satuday Evening, the crowds were cheering, the sun had set, the time 7pm, the atmosphere was electric, the drivers sitting in the lobby waiting, nervous banter being passed back and fourth. "Where the PUPPY is BCNX" some one says, "ah! there he is", "nope he's on COD4", "spam him with invites...", "Nope he's gone offline", "Where's Caspa and Cactus", "Dunno, Caspa's away and Cactus is offline", "Right we'll wait till 7:30, then thats it...."
7:30 arrives, and the only drivers to race are
BadBoyz - Sports Quattro
Gorfinkle - Sports Quattro
Sky Crusader - Audi R8
Race 1 Silverstone Grand Prix (3.19 Miles) 5 Laps
Nothing much happened in this race, the drivers took it quite easy, with a few "Bugger, Shit, and alot of "ooooh oooh ohhhh"

Race 2 Sunset Peninsula Infield Reverse (2.77 Miles) 5 Laps
The drivers had settled down into a routine, and a little more aggresive race was driven, with a few trips to the fair ground to play on the "Dodgems"

Race 3 Mugello (3.26 Miles) 5 Laps
I don't remember much about this race, it's all a blur........

Race 4 New York Circuit (1.80 Miles) 5 Laps
An interesting race, with a pit stop from Sky Crusader almost from the start, the cars raced up the long start/finish straight, then BLAM!! sharp left corner, two cars into the wall, quite abit of damage...

Race 5 TT Death Adder (NO PITS) (0.68 Miles) 5 Laps
The lights go green, the wheels spin, the engine screaming to get the car off the line, thats about it for this circuit, except for the nice tight corners EVERYWHERE....... lots of "Kitty Litter Driving", by the time we got into a nice "race / rally" routine, the race was over

Race 6 Tsukuba (1.29 Miles) 5 Laps
This was a race of some dispute, there was alot of "Pushing, shoving and ramming up the arse from all drivers here...." With some cars limping, coughing and spluttering like a "40 a day smoker" we finished the race.

Race 7 Nordscleife (Nurburgring) (12.90 Miles) 5 Laps
Well this was the "Daddy" of all races, and one of my favourite circuits, the lights go green, we scream up the very long start / finish straight, 1st corner ok, 2nd corner BLAM 2 cars into the pits...... (Gorfinkle pushed into the Pit Entrance Wall, serverly damaging his car, BadBoyz doing loads of damage, missing the pit entrance, only to spin round and drive the wrong way and enter the pits) Then the race settled down to a long 45 min race, there was a few "BUGGERS" along the way, with Gorfinkle catching upto Sky Crusader on the 2nd half of the circuit, but Sky Crusader only to increase his lead on the very long straight.

So well done Sky Crusader, who wins a Crusader Polo Shirt, and bad luck to Gorfinkle and BadBoyz.
Overall the tournament was a partital success, it was great fun to play (only took 1 1/2 hours), for those who missed it, perhaps next time you'll play by reading this, for those who didn't want to play, perhaps this has sparked a little light and you'll go and get the game and have some fun with us.
