Not Sure If This Was With You Guys....Anyway, even if it wasn't, still silliness.
So, we were playing CoD4 (maybe) and some nubsauce on the enemy team changed his tag to ours and sent a message to us asking to join.
As my USB keyboard was working then (not anymore sad face ) I volunteered to decline him. I told him that his gamerpicture (A smiley face) was not acceptable for our clan, as when we load the gamecards in, a smiley face will crash the severs.
He seemed to buy this.
5 weeks later, I get this message;
"Ow dus a smiley face crash a website??/!?!??!?1/?!!?!?!?"
This was my reply,
The HTML code for smiley face ({align=72} > aqcuire 'smile' run target at pos target 243 X ttwxl) has a correlative negotatiative relation with the website's C++ runtime for the server timeout.
The line in question <C++ runtime4.3423 recall server locale. > Retrieve I.P. lcl srvr interval 7 ping 40+ auto shut down> Due to the the 'target' command in the HTML, a series of retrieval, configure and enhance commands are sent.
The C++ mistakes these commands for server pings, and due to 'align 72' they breach the 40+ ping limit for auto server shut down to prevent overload in the proxy banks. To fix this would require about 30 hours of extensive programming.
And while our techie could easily do this, he is currently travelling around Peru with his new girlfriend, and noone else has the skills or trust level necessary to complete such an act.
