I purposefully left the free chat on to wind up the opposition and told my own team to have radio silence as well as went through a few light signal meanings with them, these tactics work so so well and should be employed, as anyone who is no-one won't notice free chat is on.
After about three minutes of them pissing around and us all having to endure this annoying child who was on the red team (He sounded about 5) we all clashed on the hill near Combas C. Anyone who knows this map will know how intense it can get either side of that hill and on top....
Red Team "There are three of them coming now I can see...one a double, one a Howitzer and some hover with piles"
Green Team: " ARE WE THE GREEN TEAM?"
Red Team: No, you idiot we're the red team!
Green Team: "Oh okay....Oh look behind us there are three double doubles QUICK!"
......The 4 members of the Red Team at Combas C ALL turn around..I kid you not....even though this is a numerical impossibility to have another three hounds behind them
BANG, SMASH, WALLOP - 4 easy kills for us from behind them from the classic; "They're behind you" trick.
We find the other member of the Red Team on 4 legs walking into the orange area rather than face us
So we keep the radio silence plan and relocate to Combas G via a light flash and a lead by myself....
Red Team "Okay where is everyone....we'll meet up"
I flashed all our members to hold position and let the rendezvous occur at B.....And Oh My God People...they fell for the ARE WE THE RED TEAM? again...they were facing every diection and so unorganised...
Unbelievable...*Cue aforementioned child screaming several times over three minutes as his hound is systematically ambushed and annoying his teamates as well as making us laugh like hell*
By this time 13 or so minutes into the battle and one disconnection later on their team they still haven't sussed we've relocated once again....And if you like all that ^...you're going to love this...
Red Team "Okay.....where are you all? give me your positions"
I don't think I needed to say anymore they each gave their location so I flashed directions, we paired off and absolutely tore them to pieces again.
Then the penny dropped as someone on our team HAD to break radio silence by laughing
Red Team: Free Chat is on!!
No? Really? The best part about this was the guy who was co-ordinating the biggest logistical cock-up in the history of ANY Red Team was a proper geordie and started giving us all grief, Now I like geordies, hell I even went to school with one, But I couldn't resist taunting him back by saying in my greatest geordie accent (Which imshall will tell you is more than passable : )
"Daya 1 in the big brotha hound, and the red team are takin a rite batterin n shaftin as they left the radio on an never noticed like"
