The Crusade take on Rank 1 and win! 13 April '07Here's the story...
Imshall, haeZen and Caspa had played a few games against some yanks (who we owned) they kept asking for a rematch, but one time some other team jonied our game, so we thought what the hell, lets have a bit of a change. While looking through the gamertags we were to be fighting, one of the mottos read "SUPERFREAKS #69" at which time, haeZen shouted out "these guys are rank 1 for the total renown, sod it, let's play anyway..."
So we did, and here is the full story..
Hounds used:
Caspa
Chicken legs, with 4 falchion cannons on top of the legs, large cockpit placed behind the cannons with the spacer supporting it and the generator on the ohter end of the spacer. (jap style)
haeZen
6 Epee sniper, heavy inverse and armoured cockpit
Imshall
Scout with grenades (nuff said)
So heres how it started, the map was Braidwood, Ebus Lake, quite a big map (3500x3500) so to start with imshall scouted for the combas's. after a while we got a sighting of them and they were quite a way away from their base with haeZen and myself getting some heavy howitzer and sniper fire coming at us.
I decided to try and flank the whole perimiter of the map to try and lure them back to their base to defent it from being struck by me, which allowed imshall to move in for combas's. After a couple minutes of being pounded by howizter and sniper fire from 2 enemies, I got blown to bits, but by then the plan had pretty much worked, they were all crowded around their base (near it anyway), as they started to flee their base to get the others, imshall moved in behind them to steal their combas's (cheeky bugger) while haeZen kept them busy (eventually being killed with just 1 minute remaining).
The round ended with us having 7 combas and htem having 3. This will be a day that The Crusade can cherish for all of their days to come!

That's like saying "Ho Ho I killed Sam Fisher!" Then revealing you sniped him, with a cruise missile, while he was dying from cancer!

Yeah, we would have prefered a victory by death but they did comment after on how good the tactics were... (i forgot to mnetion in there, we managed to kill one of them)

Twas a good night, shame that we got base rushed by the Americans after that who were tired of getting their arses kicked by us.
The fight was very well executed and everyone did their part to get us our victory to w00t w00t!
Oh and can I also point out that the first time we played the Americans it was me and HaeZen vs 3 of them  Well I think that's all for my ego trip today

That's not what made me 1337, not only was I born 1337, I also took on 6 Ai hounds who had brick cockpits withe 4 cannons. WITHOUT help.
Only to have Gorfy disconnect and me not get the kills registered. =(
