OHMFUHJUH TEH ARMAGEDUNZ!?1!!!1Shift+1!Slightly worrying thing to report here guys. Lets start off with this simple sentence:-
Life without Pidgeon, tough. Life without the Pink, unbearable?
Yup, indeedly my Xbox seems close to if not at deaths door. It's ok for about 10 mins or so then it sounds as if the fan goes into over-drive and it whirs up to what I can only describe as a Helicopter before turning off and flashing me with some nice Red Lights.
Now I've had it since the Christmas it came out, so it's lasted alot longer than some peoples but im slightly confused the Warranty is of course gone on it but can I still get it sent back to Microsoft to get it repaired for free or must I pay or whatever or can I not do it at all?
If I am able to send it off, judging by other peoples accounts I will be gone anywhere from 2 weeks up to a month or scarily, longer.
Maybe it'll calm down tomorrow or later on today, who knows? However knowing my luck I doubt it and it will have to be rapaired.
So here's a fore-warning guy's you might have no Pink guidance for up to a month! Try not to kill each other, commit suicide or commit a local Genocide.
So yeah, be strong, be Pink.

Oh dam man, what's happening to the world!!! No pidgeon and now no pink, tisk tisk.
Erm I'm not sure if you can return it to game and they'll exchange it? If you have the box and packaging it's worth a go. Ryan/ Gorfy probably know this whole process best...
What you could to alternatively is go to Argos and buy a new 360. Wait a few days then pack the broken 360 into the box that the new one came in, take it back to Argos and ask for a refund. New 360, no money lossed, all over in a matter of days.

Return to store is a 6 year warranty for hardware known to be faulty at POS (which the 360 is with it's bad design).
But you will have to give up your HDD also so you will lose all your saves (unless you can back it up on a Memroy Card thang).
Same happened to me, but call GAME first adn if they refuse just mention the sales of good act and the 7 year warranty for faulty hardware, that'll shut them up
http://www.monikie.org.uk/yourrights.htm
just good for "Consumer rights returning faulty 6 years".

Bah, so I'll lose all the stuff I've put so much effort in to just like that? Sucks ass.
But I don't see why my HDD must go and even if there's a reason for it why I must lose all my data?

They have to send it all back to M$ or they don't get a refund from them

The luverly people at Microsoft. Granted, I had to spell most of what I was saying to them, but they seemed charming. Even, if I did hear a man shouting loudly in what I assume was punjabi in the beackground.

Fait nuff mate but as the post says, this is regarding taking it back to the POS, in this case GAME.
They always require the HDD be returned with it

Well something magical has happened today and that is the fact that my Xbox is working. How? Don't ask.. but it does. It's slightly louder that it used to be, with the fan but it doesn't go all red and it no longer sounds like a Chinook is outside my window.
So far, so good. We'll see if it manages to stay like this.
