Can someone tell me when we became the best CoD 4 clan in the world ever?

Lemme give you the answer. We never did...

So why is it that when we lose games certain people's first response is to start to complaining about how bad the lag was, how we're shit at this map blah blah blah.

Only 3 times have I heard someone say it was our fault, every other time there has always been something else to blame.

Now I've kept quite about this for a while. I've sat through people effing and blinding and complaining about this and that and once I actually seriously considered jumping out of the lobby, removing my CSD tag, and playing some games by myself just to get away from it.

Now I know CoD for can be 'stressful'. You only have to play 2 games of CoD 3 with me to see how it annoys people. However it still does not call for the OMFG LAGz0RES!!!11!!!!!1!! after every game we lose.

So I'm going to ask you, nicely, would you please curb your 'enthusiasm' as to why we lose games or turn your mikes off please. Cheers.

The thing that puppies me off is when we get killed loads by an enemy who is amping in the Headquarters game and people scream and moan about pupping campers!
Unless I am very much mistaken, snipers are supposed to camp and, so long as they aren't doing it on the spawn point, they are doing their job very well.

Sure, sometimes we do get lag-glitchers and the like but there is such a thing as losing gracefully and accepting that the other team is better (hell, I am worse in the Crusade at FPS' so I am more than used to being at the bottom of the lists!)

So yeah, let's show the Yanks what it means to be a gentleman i defeat and our fellow Brits that we, at least, can uphold the ancient British art of Good Manners Smile

Some very good games tonight guys especially against the guys who said we were just campers and all we could do was snipe Very Happy

Quick run down if you weren't there: 9 of us in Team Deathmatch game on Overgrown with most of us sniping. We held em back for the most part with the snipers and assault rifles whilst a couple of guys attacked round the side and we won pretty quick.

Got back to the lobby and they were giving the whole "Oh my god all you can do is camp" "puppying campers" "CSD does that stand for Cock Sucking Dickheads?" "Can't use anything but snipers". Everyone kept there cool and when the next game started on Crash Andy was the only sniper and everyone else took assault rifles, LMGs and P90's.

Andy got a load of shotgun kills, there were some nice 5 kill airstrikes and we always had a chopper up. The host quit 5 kills from the end, I guess they didn't wanna have the abuse afterwards Razz

So well done to everyone in that for how well you played and keeping your cool when they started throwing the abuse!

Well I must admit I have to be the worst person for complaining about getting killed in COD4. There can be times when lag and the old one hit kill are the cause but 80% of the time it’s just me getting pissed about getting killed. Last night though was very funny because as Adam said I was the only one to take a sniper only because the said person said that all we would do in this game would be to go and sit on the top of the “hotel” with snipers. That’s what I did and just in case that little puppy turned up I had a shotgun on my back. What transpired was that me and provengeance were up top and Gorf was on the stairs. Unfortunately Adam and his little band of troopers held them back. I only managed to get one sniper and about five or six shotgun kills.
