Christmas!

Ok so that wonderful time of year is coming around again it will be the first christmas we have spent together as a clan. So me being me, I want to do something to celebrate this occasion the only problem is, I have no idea what to do. Well that's a lie. I have a small idea however this will need some organizing and a lot more planning before we can do anything.

My plan is to host a string of events across all the games we support on a nation wide Crusade game day. And as I just typed that a piece of inspiration hit me. We may also be able to plan some sort of public game day in which we can have fun with new people across the games we play but also advertise The Crusade to increase our numbers. These two game days will be separate however we need some ideas and fleshing out done.

Oh yeah before I forget I'd also like to do another video for the clan like I did for The High Guard 1 month anniversary so if anyone would like to help and if Caspa could help us film it then that'd be great!..............Oh and don't worry, this one will be much better Razz

I think for the video we could do a montage of all things great and funny on all games, chromehound jokes hounds, splinter cell general jumping on people and what not...

Chrome Hounds:
Medieval combat day:
We can have Jousting, Seige Battles and Heavy Gunner/Ballistae battles across maps to see who wins.

CoD2/3: Backstab games. Armed with only a knife, see who can rack up the most kills.

Battlefield 2: Chicken Shoot: Team A Jump out of Helicopter and Team B try to kill them all as they come down. Swap places and whoever gets the most men down wins.

Nice ideas Ryan, only problem is that CoD doesn't have any knives Razz

I think that we could also have some games of Zombie and Protect the VIP on CoD as well. Makes for some interesting games those ones.

i have a really great idea, lets all get rissed as pats and then play CH on a night map without any thermal or night sensors, with only 1 shotgun, failing that Saw hai, jeeze get a propper Gamertag GEORGE idea sounds cool

Ok so just a quick run down of what we have so far:

Chrome Hounds
- Hound Jousting: Two Hounds must charge at each other and take their opponent out using 1 pile. If the run fails you must quickly turn round and attack again.

- Destruction Derby: Free for all pile game where Hounds are pitted against each other until only one is left standing.

- Siege Battle: TBD

- Shotgun-O-Rama: Hounds of all types are made to fight against each other using only shotguns until one is left standing

- Silly Hound Contest: Make the silliest, funniest and most artistic Hound possible to compete in a beauty contest before the claws come out and the poodles become predators in a fight to the death.

Call of Duty
- Zombie: One zombie on the German side must assimilate the allies into his army of the dead by bashing them with his rifle of doom. The allies must fend him off using only pistols until the last man is a walking corpse.

- Protect the VIP: You must protect the VIP for as long as possible against the opposing force. The VIP is equipped with only a pistol to defend himself, how long will he live?

- Skull Smasher: Free for all match much like destruction derby where all players will start in a circle then run into the middle and attempt to kill all their opponents by bashing them with their rifle.

Battle Field 2

Thats all the games we have so far and any more will be appreciated. Their are a few things to be decided upon first however:

Firstly, in destruction derby will we allow only wheel and hover bases to make it a bit more 'car' like or shall we allow all movement bases?

Secondly, the siege battle. I think that it would be fun to have 2 teams, team 1 must defend an area of their choosing from team 2. Team 2 has unlimited re-spawn and team 1 has has unlimited re-spawn for the first 5 mins. Team 2 must destroy all of the team 1 hounds and then move 2 of their hounds into the area that team 1 was defending. However Ryan also suggested that we get Heavy gunners on the map with scouts trying to direct their attacks and see who wins. We can do both or we can pick one to do?

Thats all really. Put up your ideas and we'll move on from their.

Ok so I assume that everyone is ok with these games and their is nothing that you think should be changed? Also everyone is cool with only allowing wheel and hover bases for the Derby?

Ok seeing as their are no replies I'll just finalize the other game details and then format my previous post. Apart from finding a date for this the only other thing that I can think of is are their any games that we could incorporate into GoW? Apart from it being the second most widely played Crusade game it's brand new and loads of people are playing it on Live meaning that their could be several new people that could be recruited into the clan. Even if their aren't any silly game types that could be thought up just basic games with and against new people and a quick message to them explaining about the clan might bring in the new members that we are lacking to make The Crusade into a large multi-gaming community. Just a thought but I think it's defiantly worth looking into.
