I was training a bunch of noobs in work earlier this week and was talking to one obout gaming nad he told me about a channel on Sky called XLeague.
I had never heard of it so checked it out last night.
It is on sky channel 291 and is basically a gaming channel with live games (Have seen Halo 2 and Rainbow 6 matches thus far) as well as news and guff and looks pretty darned good.
Well worth a looksie if you can't get access to the pr0n channels Smile

Flicking through all those cable and Sky channels always confuses me as well...

X-Games are good as well when they're on.

Speaking of Xleague.
Had a call from them last night to say I'd won a competition I entered with them.
Nothing amazing, just a copy of 'Crash of the Titans' on 360 and 3 months subscription to their Platinum service.
A free game is a free game though I guess Smile

Nope we don't.
But as we are now doing the Halo 3 12 month live deal there are rumours we may start somethng on our Virgin1 channel in the new year...maybe.

When yuo buy halo 3, you get a card that has a number.

If you call and take out our XL Bband package (£27pm) you get 12 months Xbox Live free.
Only open to new customers though mate so bad luck :p

It's not that great honestly. Before 6pm all you get is loud background music and grainy, low-res images saying "TOURNAMENT! OMFG LASZLO! TOURNAMENT! WIN TEH MONIES!" or something to the extent.
