Connection issues

As we all know well enough buy now, the connectivity to games on this game sucks.
Apparently it is caused by a corruption in the files that saves our Gamertags on their database thus we are rejected from games.
This seems a tad dubious when we can eventually connect and many are calling the hosts liars over it.
They have said that deleting your saves and starting all over again will fix it but as I am sure you will agree this is unacceptable.
They are suuposedly fixing it as we speak and actually put the forst patch ontot he servers late last night that has eased the issue for many but it does still seem to be a big problem
They are loads of posts on the forums for it with links to announcements but sadlt, being in work, I cannot post any of them here.
Well worth a look though and if you can get any of the posts, please add them here.
Let's all hope it is sorted soon eh? Equally let's hope that they don't just reset everything, thus demoting us all back to Rank1 just to fix it Sad

So let me get this straight they have fixed the lag problems but it has wiped all our ranks gun's EVERYTHING

Um...read it again mate.
I said they have issued a fix and should (theoretically) fix it and, if it doesn't do so, let's hope they don't have to resort ot wiping all our info out.

Well if they have patched it then the patch is working. I just tried it 3 times and each time there were no lock ups, no lag and games were found quickly. Looks like CoD's back on the menu boys!

Game is effecting game is effecting game at the moment because of Halo 3 and COD 4 having such a massive player/server demand I heard they had to move it onto several more and it's impacting other XBL titles now. Even older games like GOW are suffering with lag issues etc.

Guess what though?

We all know why...

It's all imshall's fault.

*sigh* Yeah that's right, I'm the straw that broke the camels back. If I didn't have Xbox Live then the connection would be eternally stable....
