I've recently dusted off Fable, Jade Empire and Half Life 2 and given them the time they deserved when I didn't have a chance on the old Green and Black...

Fable is immense, you could literally walk around and spend an hour gawping at backdrops and having conversations with inbred villagers and it would still be an awesome game.

Half Life 2 - is Half Life 2, enough said...

I have to say I only really got a little into Jade Empire first time around but, what an amazing game...Graphically and plot-wise it's fantastic, completed it yesterday.

So what are your favourite X-Box Classic/Backward compatable games and why?

Halo and Halo 2 would be my other choices, they're possibly the best games ever created, and tainted and sullied by online crackers so, for me as single player games they rock and roll but the longevity is messed up by cheats on XBL.

I haven't played any BC games after trying HL2 a while ago and seeing it is not VGA compatible.
Gave up at that point Sad

Like you said Neo Fable is a fantastic game and begins to rival Morrowind in the RPG genre. You should also try and pick up a copy of Fable: The lost chapters if you can as it's extra section after taking (or destroying) the Sword of Aeons is the opportunity everyone was waiting for to slash the odd Balvarine or worse in the face.

Keeping in the RPG genre Morrowind it's also a fantastic game that I think is a little more in-depth and realistic in some respects than Oblivion and for that reason I occasionally like to pop it into the 360 and take a step back from the high graphics and focus on a games amazing game play.

I did really like Fable but was very unhappy that is was the biggest disapointment when compared to what they promised the game would be.
I know it was hyped up incredibly so, but most of the hype was done by the makers themselves so there is no excuse!
But overall it was an entertaining game, as was Jade Empire, but with only one default attack (hundred hands or something like that) you could complete the entire game which was a bit silly Smile

Actually if you took the Sword in the first one but didn't skip the credits you could continue your game with the Sword. Very Happy

Also Jade Empire, what a sick plot! Thats movie material man, completely owned me as I though I had it sussed.

Also a good one? Star Wars knights of the Old Republic 1&2, they rule in story terms aswell.

haeZen,

I know however were their any actual quests to do afterwards? I never really explored the game after the credits.........which took forever to get through Razz
