The Crusade take on Rank 3 and win! =0

That's right yesterday Me, Immy, Donut and the New guy Gruesomemilzy took down the #3 ranked team - The 3lite Squ4d.

Heres the pic:-

Was a pretty tense game we had a bit of confusion at the start, Donut thought we were flanking round the left and he ended up getting double teamed and taken out, while Gruesome I believe got sniped.

Leaving me (In my Cannon hound) and Immy (Wheeled chassis 6? HEAT rockets) to tackle all 4.

While running round a hill to flank two of the advancers (Where gruesome died) I saw the old cannon hound version(C'pit behind cannons) walking by not noticing me so I decide to do as much damage as possible before he see's my movement. Luckily I got a good 1-shotter on his unprotected C'pit.(Yay!)

The second guy was running what is called the Gator build(the hound I use sometimes with the cannons mounted really low and in front of the C'pit) Immy was harrasing him so I joined the fight and we took him down pretty easily, chances increase dramatically when you have a friend. Very Happy

So now me and Immy have taken down two of their hounds while myself had not taken any damage and Immy having his chassis blown off(from what I could tell) so now the enemy's remaining hound was a armoured guy on tracks with Triple shot greande launchers and a sniper with 3 sniper cannons and 3 howitzers.

We had a majority of COMBAS's I think it was 8-5 then the track guy was moving up and he took 1 COMBAS making it 7-6, me and Immy decided to make this a COMBAS win and went over to take the COMBAS's back and take the grenade launcher guy out aswell. We got to the COMBAS he had just taken and me and Immy unleashed upon him he took a real beating, we had some solid hits but he was surviving by a tidgy bit(judging from the smoke) and he ran back to get another COMBAS.

Now while I cap'd the COMBAS we needed to be 2 in front, Immy went to sneak around the side. The sniper had noticed me and was firing his howitzers at the COMBAS(which I was hiding behind) hoping to splash me, though I knew what he was doing and moved back slightly while he shot the COMBAS and nothing was being done to myself. With only 2 minutes left in the match the sniper got so aggitated he tried to rush me, and came running down to get me.

Now at the time I've been concentrating on this sniper guy when I began to think "Where the heck is Immy?" as the sniper gets close I go toe-to-toe with him and we deal each other some hard hits it seems, then the next thing I know a flurry of HEAT rockets is smacking this guy inthe side and this little wheeled chassis is rolling over a hill with the sun behind it like some sort of Cowboy on his horse. The sniper turns exposing a wider target and while distracted was made mince meat.

Down to the last 15 seconds the injured grande launcher attempted to hit us but to no avail. The Crusade has yet again topped another top team with style.

Well done guys, right after my disconnection as well no doubt!

I always enjoy reading battle reports on Chromehounds, you get some hilarious events and no two battles are ever the same.

Think we should nickname Imshall as THE SAVIOUR now. Smile

Part Two: Crusade Take On Rank 3 And LOSE!

We came up against them again, and despite my loud bitching we entered the game. From the get-go, we divided our forces, myself and Gruesome went to the right, while the Smexy Imshall and the Not-As-Smexy HaeZen went to the left.

Me and the Gruesome did witness a single HOUND to our front on a hill (I thought there were two, but one turned out to be a COMBAS) Gruesome's tactic was "You go that way, I'll go this way". A good solid plan. So we engaged the enemy (Grenade-whore) and I did fire my many rockets, wondered where Gruesome was, but focusing on the DEATH OF MY FOE.

Then Gruesome's voice came blasting over the headset, "In FRONT OF YOU!" I replied "Well yes, I am shooting him." "NO! ONE IN FRONT OF YOU!" Too late did I realise his folly, as a sniper fired many shots into my BEHIND.

Needless to say, we died.

I don't know what happened to HaeZen, as he went Rambo out of range.

Imshall stayed back, sniping well, but died while valiantly defending his honour.
