Right my fellow C&C'ers.
We have a dilema on what we should do.
I don't know if you've heard but C&C is getting an expansion, now that is interesting and gay at the same time, interesting it's a new C&C with new stuff, gay because EA will most likely have more lackluster support.
Now, the thing is, the PC version is on Patch 1.9 whereas we have received none so far, people say it's an entirely different game now because of the patches and the like.
So, in the expansion, the game will have the Patches we have missed, however we won't be getting more patches because Microsoft only allows 4mb patches and the PC patches are around 50mb or more. So pretty much if patch 1,9 sucks then we are stuck with it. though it is said the game is ownage with the current update.
Whats new? Well we aren't getting a new faction per se.. However, we ARE getting Sub-Factions. Err What? I hear you ask, well pretty much from what I can gather it will mean you choose a sort of path, all I know so far is the Scrin's two Sub-Factions - 2 Sub-Factions for each Faction by the way. - Is that one is called Reaper-17, which focus' on bad ass ground power and Traveler-59 which is about Infiltration and mind controling units and the like (Source: http://uk.gamespot.com/xbox360/st...yadded&tag=newlyadded;title;1)
Problem I foresee however is the fact with the new Units rebalancing will be neededfor them so it will be step one again for us, however when you think about it, since when have we REALLY cared? I mean we play the Brutal AI not some glitch using human.
So Ishmy and Pidgmy, you guys wanna get the expansion, or just ignore it?
haeZen,

Well it sounds interesting and like you said we don't play against humans so as long as they don't change the brutal AI we don't need to worry too much in that area.
Price I think will be a big factor and how are they releasing the pack? If its a separate disk we might have the option of changing between the two or deleting the patches possibly?
I'll wait until the price is discovered but for the moment I'm content with C&C and I can happily live with it how it is now but the expansion is tempting... _________________ Grab life by the horns, kick it in the balls and when it stands up to fight make sure you have the bigger axe!

Donut what is this?
This, this question on an EA game without insults about uber-mega-sellout-corperations-mcneil-aliens.
Though I don't disagree, EA suck, but C&C rules so.
Uh, I don't know a price currently, but it's EA it'll probably be £40, however it might be around £20 or so because it is an expansion and thats what they used to do for the PC games, used to be around £20 or so.
However if they are selling it by disc I can't see an X360 gameon the shelves in GAME for example for a price tag of £20, personally I'd rather buy it on disc instead of through the MarketPlace cause normally it's sokmething like 1,600 points and you have to buy 2,000 points then have 400 left over which you can't really use for anything good because the Arcade games cost 800 or so.
Slightly off track there but meh. But still, between this and Halo Wars, we are going to be having fun time on RTS this year.
Uh, I had a brief, VERY brief check on our beloved Google and I found 2 sites selling it for $40, yes Dollars not Pounds. Convert yourself, but im guessing it's somewhere round £25-£30? Don't quote me on that it's just a quick guess.
haeZen,
P.S I found a screen of Giddy Harvesters with Rocket Launchers.

Oh no doubt, but we have a contender to that, and it is Tom Clancy's EndWar. Google it, i've seen some awesome stuff from it.
And as I said to Immy, this is a year of awesome RTS' for the console.

http://uk.media.xbox360.ign.com/media/957/957212/imgs_1.html
Image 4 and 7.
Walls! Well, probably not, not the type im used to seeing anyway, though they may just have walled around the structures, but the NOD walls on image 4 seem too close to the refinery.
Mmm, we'll see I guess.
And for Pidgeon, 2 pics of the Giddy Epic unit.
http://outpost.cnchq.de/apokalypse/Marv.jpeg
http://cnc-inside.de/data/media/2041/marv_epicunit.jpg
It can garrison 4 Infantry units and 4 turrets appear on the corners of the treads depending on the infantry. Imagine that with 4 Rocket squads, Pidgeon you might actually survive mass Orca pwning.
Not found a good enough picture of the NOD Redeemer and not found any pictures of the Scrins Eradicator.
I'll keep trying to find more.

Big hunk of Information coming.
Global conquest mode
Kane's Wrath is set to feature a "Risk-like" gameplay called "global conquest mode", where players can move their armies around the world map and then strategically engage each other in battles which are fought through traditional Command & Conquer RTS gameplay. This gameplay mode will also replace the traditionally linear single player campaigns of the previous Command & Conquer games, allowing for the players to freely choose the order of the missions. Armies will persist in the global conquest mode, causing units that survived the traditional RTS-style battles to be carried over to the world map and remain available for future battles, similar to the Battle for Middle-Earth series' "War of the Ring", or Star Wars: Empire At War.
Sub-Factions
GDI
The Steel Talons
The Post-2nd Tiberium War military force specializing in "tried and true" heavy firepower. This sub-faction will feature the Titan and Wolverine units from Tiberian Sun, and Juggernauts will have attached infantry bunkers. Advanced Sonic technology is not yet available to these heavy-hitters. Minor upgrades to standard units are noticeable: Engineers are armed with pistols, harvesters have a one slot infantry bunker and APCs can now repair vehicles. Talon vehicles can be upgraded with EMP-proof armor. To counterbalance their prowess in vehicles, the Steel Talons cannot build any infantry outside of Riflemen Squads, Rocket Squads, Grenadier Squads and Engineers.
ZOCOM
Zone Operations Command, the High-Tech troopers equipped to tackle the planet-wide Tiberium infestation. Their units cater to experimental technologies like Sonics and Tiberium-resistant Powered Armor, as well as suppression and area-of-effect tactics. The faction will feature Zone Raiders, a new Powered Armor unit with anti-air rockets and sonic grenade launchers. Orca Gunships are also slated to use sonic grenades instead of rockets.
Brotherhood of Nod
The Black Hand
Nod's elite forces, specializing in powerful shock trooper infantry. The Black Hand’s standard infantry unit is the "Confessor Cabal", which is a battalion of six regular Confessor units armed with hallucinogenic grenades (a manually activated ability) and gattling guns. Confessor Cabals also give nearby infantry units a buff that increases their armor and rate of fire. The Black Hand infantry starts out as veterans, their Commando is trained as heroic, and two commandos can be used at once. The "Black Disciple" upgrade adds a Black Hand trooper to all of the Black Hand's infantry squads. Their Avatars, called "Purifiers", come automatically equipped with flamethrowers and infantry suppression devices yet cannot be further upgraded. All flame attacks of the sub-faction can be upgraded to do more damage against every type of target. In return, the Black Hand cannot field stealthed or air units.
The Marked of Kane
A faction "hand-picked" by Kane himself. These forces excel in the field of stealth and are heavily armed with Tiberium-based technology. The Marked of Kane get "Awakened" Cyborgs as their infantry, which have the ability to EMP vehicles. Their "Enlightened" Cyborg infantry are comparable to GDI’s zone troopers, armed with charged particle beams, and an EMP attack that has an even bigger radius that that of the Awakened. The Marked of Kane get deadly magnetic mines that slowly kill vehicles unless removed by repair drones.
Scrin
Reaper-17
Themed as the heavy “shock” faction of the Scrin, with heavy vehicles and better harvesting operations. The trade-off for all of its ground power is the lack of air units, except for Storm Riders, and no Mastermind unit. There is an upgraded Gun Walker called the "Shard Walker", and the "Reaper Tripod" which converts Tiberium into extra damage in the same way the Devourer Tank can. An "Attenuated Forcefields" upgrade for Seekers and Shard Walkers is available at the Nerve Center. Another upgrade is "Conversion Reserves", which allows for Reaper Tripods and Devourer Tanks to store more absorbed Tiberium. Reaper-17 has a new structure called the "Growth Stimulator", which functions as a normal Growth Accelerator in addition to providing a steady stream of income like a Tiberium Spike. Reaper-17 Harvesters come with shields of their own.
Traveler-59
The polar opposite of Reaper-17, Traveler-59 focuses on speed, teleportation and mind-control. It features new "Stalker" and "Cultist" infantry units, as well as an upgraded Mastermind unit called the "Prodigy". Stalkers are fast infantry, and have the "Agitate Tiberium" ability that damages Tiberium utilizing units or structures. Cultists have no regular attack, but can control units and structures just like Masterminds and have no build limit, but cannot take over air units. Their Mastermind receives area-of-effect mind control and a personal blink pack in addition to its old abilities. Traveler-59 doesn’t get Devourer Tank units, however their Seekers are upgradable and the "Traveler Engines" upgrade give all units a speed boost. Traveler aircraft are cheaper compared to the other two Scrin factions.
Epic Units
Each faction will have a unique hero-type "Epic Unit" designed to wreak destruction on the battlefield. Each is built from its own structure and comes with unique abilities that can turn the tide of battle and combine with other units to enhance its capabilities according to Producer, Jim Vasella.
GDI: A massive armored and heavily armed vehicle named the "MARV", which can instantly harvest and process Tiberium.
Nod: A massive quadrupedal walker named the "Redeemer" which garrisons infantry to increase firepower and specialization.
Scrin: A massive spider-like biomechanism named the "Eradicator".
Epic Units will have an "interesting" role in the Global Conquest Mode, able to be strategically placed on the global map between missions.
Other known features
New radial interface controls for the Xbox 360, which allows the players to control their base from anywhere on the map, much like the Windows version.
30 new multiplayer maps.
A campaign that spans 20 years of history the Tiberian series' universe.
Original "Podded" Tiberium will make a brief comeback but will slowly fade out with explanation as the "new" Tiberium is discovered
30 New multiplayer maps!

Easy, we stalk him, find his daily pattern, then we kidnap him and beat him with a stick till he gives in. Then, when he agree's we ram the stick in his ass and pull it out only when he is seen playing it on the Guide.
Nothing can go wrong with zee's plan. Mwuhahaha!
