Recent occurences...(nice long post :D)

As I'm sure you all know recent occurences over the past few days have created some tension within the clan. Cactus and Donut's discrepency lead to some lesions forming and I believe I owe everyone an appology for not performing my duties to the clan and its members by dealing with the whole thing as quickly as I should have done.

I hope everyone can forgive me for that.

However as far as I understand Cactus and Donut have at least been able to start talking again and begin putting this whole thing behind us. I hope everyone else can also forgive and forget because we're all adults here right?

Not only that but think about it, this IS one of the better community based clans out there. I have chats with cactus all the time and many times he's told me about how happy people are to be appart of this clan. It's been appart of us since the beginning, that power to come online and sit around in lobbies for hours just talking and hardly notice we're not actually playing because we are a community.

Myself, Donut, HaeZen, Cactus and Assasin are some members I know (and I'm sure there are other incidences) that have either had other clans ask us to join them or are or were part of other clans before joining the Crusade. So what you say?

They're still here.

They're still here not because we're the best clan out there, not because we always win but because we enjoy being here playing together. Sure when we lose we get annoyed and throw the blame at the connections and when we win we cheer and give it the big one but all in all its not the outcome of the battle that matters the most it's about a group of gamers, of clan mates, of friends gaming together and having fun.

Now as much as I'd like this to be true, no matter what you say or do eventually somewhere along the line in a group of people, no matter the size, there will be arguments. It's a fact, I'm sure its happened to you before and not just in gaming and I'll admit in both the real world and within clans it's happened to me. I've argued with members of this clan before, I know I've pissed people off but we got passed it, made amends and got back to gaming because thats what we're hear for.

I don't know if BCNX or Assasin check the forum anymore I assume not however I'll post this here anyway and if anyone gets to see them please tell them that they still have there accounts and I'd like them to read this.

BCNX, I'm sorry that you felt the need to leave and you feel that you only really enjoy spending time with a few members here. I also once again appologise for not nipping the whole incident in the bud quicker because I'm sure I could have. Yet as I have said wherever you go there are going to be arguments, this clan has faced its fare share. So I'm asking you as a friend if you would come back in the hope that you will reconsider the situation and know that things can only get better from here on out.

Assasin, you've only been with us for a short time and some people haven't even heard you speak, none the less you've earned the respect of many members of this clan and I understand why you left. Once again however I extend an invitation for you to come back and re-join us.

Now obviously its entierly up to you whether you decided to accept these invitations however personally it would be a massive shame to lose either one of you. If you don't wish to come back then I wish you both the very best and hope you find a clan that you can say you're happy with.

Just two more things (he says as everyone sighs loudly and wonders if Immy has ever started new topics with a short post).

Firstly Cactus has agreed to come back which I am very thankful for and Donut I'm sorry for what's happened and I seriously hope that you'll consider coming back despite what has happened. I'd like to appologise for the things that were said against you. They have been removed from this forum and I certainly don't encourage attacking clan members in any form however taking into consideration what was happening I think we can all agree that it was an occurence we'd like to move away from.

Finally I'd like to leave you with two quotes. The first is the clan motto, the second is one of my own.

"The outcome of war is in our hands"

Just like everything else, everything is in our hands. We might come along bumps in the road but its up to us to move on, keep going and reach what we want to achieve. Which leads me nicely into my quote...

"To lose sight of our roots is to lose sight of all things"

Why do we have this clan? It's not for hardcore competative gaming, we tried that, ask our older members 9/10 it's more trouble than its worth. It's because we want a community, a clan that we can game and have fun with. Don't lose sight of that, it's what we do this for so lets put everything else aside and ensure when we come home from work, from school we've got somewhere we can sit down and just game.

As for Cactus shouting at someone for knifing him...I for one get it a lot and he does it all in jest.
If a kid aged 7 is playing it (under age for starters...slap those parents wrists!) and cannot take a joke then frankly I think he should stay off Live for another couple of years or he will end up a wreck before he hits his teens.
Oh and not to harp on or anything but....CoD4 is an 18 cert game...very irresponsible parenting. I look forward to his appearance on Jeremy Kyle Smile

yes i will be staying and accepting your invitation im although i never really left. Tbh if i was to do my own thing again on cod4 i think i would quit it because it gets boring working alone. Ive been in a shite load of clans on previous games in my life, back in my early years i used to play Star wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy on the PC. 48 clans i joined looking to fit in and think 'now this is my home' never found that clan...and eventually left the game. Clan hopper lol

However in cod4 CSD is the first clan ive ever joined as i felt it would work. Well i was right i love being a part of this clan and tbh as long as the same old faces stick around you immy, woo woos, cactus, haezen, badboy and many more who i may not have mentioned (sorry bad memory guys) ill be around here too, its something i dont want to sit torn apart due to bad karma etc and if it is ill have 2 PWNZZZZZZZOR u all Razz
