Ok so I have Acoustic Solutions Model DS533 got it bout 2 years ago and about 8 months ago the remote control busted, red on forums it happens to almost every system. Sent various emails and tried to buy universal remotes etc etc but alas, it was to no avail..
So the moral of the story is:
1- Dont ever buy from Acoustic Solutions
2- Anyone got a decent surround sound system that has an optical input that is good for xbox that they can recommend to be (cheap is good for me)

My surround sound is acoustic solutions also mate and never had a problem with it
That said it was only a basic 5.1 setup the remote of which had Volume Up/Down, Bass/wfr Up/Down and SS/5.1.
Never had a single issue though (besides losing the remote down the back of the sofa coz it's so damned small (matchbox size). _________________

Also, Ryan, that one you have the 99.99 from Argos, does it have controls on the subwoofer (volume control etc)
Because the one i have at the moment does not and the remote is bust... _________________

This is the company I bought a 32 inch lcd tv from, around a week later it broke. The screen started going almost like, when you have a channel with no setting you get the black and white lines dashed everywhere, well it started doing that while I was playing PSU esxcept with the PSU colours and pixels :S _________________
