Chain Reaction.

Anybody managed this yet?
Lots of talk about it being glitched on occasions?
I'm certainly having issues with it.
I go to the carpark at the prison where 10 cars exist and mush them all together then throw a grenade and a rocket and all10 go up together!
Still no outcome Sad

Some issues with the achievements, people have had to wait 13 minutes for the 6 star achievement, people have done 7 rolls with the car and not got the achievement, but there is specific ways to be done we think.
E.G I dont know abuot the 6 star achievement but someone said make sure you are watching the in game time not real life stop watch
For the car rolling they said they think the wheels needs to touch the ground each roll.
And I think you might need to blow up the cars either all at once or one after another pretty fast..

With regards tot he rolling one...
I did this at the airport as it has tall, thin ramps...excellent to driving one wheel up, this instigating a magic tumbling Smile

Did it with a Lamber and got about 9 rolls....no achievements.
Did it again but only rolled twice...got achievement.
Strange.
And the chain reaction.....have done exactly as shown on the youtube vid for it and with cars piled up...no joy, it simply does not work at all in any way shape or form.
Will start a new game, cheat in the weapons and try it then...

Yeah they can be a bit funny, bet if you blew up one more car after them lot you would of got it, same for me on the barrel roll got it 3rd time, Im not sure why everyone makes such a fuss on it, just keeps repetadly trying at the air port and make sure you roll onto that little yellow ramp with only TWO wheels.

Yeah im having problems with the barrel roll(HOOOOMERUUUUN!!11) achievement aswell, not because it's not giving it me but because evry car I've been in has a sticky roof and seems to as soon as it flips over just stays on the roof and... glides.

get in a police car in the airport and run along the middle grass bare in mind u have to start at the end of the runway get ur speed up and hit one of the yellow ramps in the middle but run into it so the front wheel then the back one hits it and you will flip a shit load of times there u go thats how i got it

I did it at a completely different place I dont think anyone done, I dont think you'd know what im talking about unless I shown you in free roam where to go but I am more than happy to, basically in tudor street, which is on the first island to the north west of it look around their a industrial area, there is a car park and ten cars were parked their, I just parked them up and hit them with a rpg

NOW I THINK I HAVE DISCOVERED WHY CHAIN REACTION IS GLITCHY

I believe YOU YOURSELF needs to blow the cars up, if you fire a rpg and then you get 6 blow up and 4 are left on fire and blow up by themselves thats the only flaw I can see which is not allowing it to work, so get a rpg with a few bullets put 10 cars together as tight as you can, shoot them lot then when you can see clearly shoot any other vehicles that are not blown yourself.

Try this, that's the only thing I can think of.

Nah thats not why, nice theory but it's not true, there is a YouTube video of this achievement being done and I know for a fact you yourself don't need to blow them up.

I know this because the guy on the video used a Shotgun to blow them up. If you can't blow them up with a RPG / Grenades then maybe try doing it with bullets? Have the cars close enough to chain react, I think that could be why yournot getting the achievement possibly?

No chain reaction you just blow them all in one.

Try it and see.

Right well I did it first time using Olly's method.

Pretty much go to the Southern most bridge connecting Island 2 & 3, create a road block - By parking your vehicle sideways - and shoot a few drivers, then when you see roughly 10 or so empty cars, just run through dropping grenades.

Works like a charm.
