Ok there are lots of posts asking for help with certain achievements, so I thought I would write up a guide on how to get them all, this will hopefully stop all the individual repeated achievement posts!
Cheating disables some achievements! So please check that the “Times cheated” stat says 0 before you ask any questions.
Thanks for all the positive replies with the last 2 versions. This is my final update, I have added to a lot to the achievements answering the questions asked in the last posts, and I have added the additional information gathered!
There is a 100% checklist with the "Key To The City" achievement, all credit for this goes to Mike Double U (I have slightly edited it by adding the percentages).
Story Achievements - 210G:
(These are not in order! These will also be got by simply playing through the story)
1.Off The Boat – 5G - Complete the first mission.
16. Lowest Point – 5G - Complete mission "Roman's Sorrow".
20. Fed The Fish – 5G - Complete the mission "Uncle Vlad".
25. Half Million – 55G - Reach a balance of $500,000.
This needs to be at one point in time, as in cash in hand. Just work towards the main story, and do some side missions, this is impossible not to get if you are achievement hunting, I have made over $1,500,000 in game now. This is doable from just the main story also; spoiler (Highlight): You will rob a bank for $250,000 and at the very end of the game you get a choice, if you select to make the deal (rather than kill him) you get another $250,000 for that mission.
27. Full Exploration – 20G - Unlock all the islands.
Simply play through the story and you will eventually get this.
34. Gracefully Taken – 10G - Complete mission "I'll Take Her".
37. That Special Someone – 10G - Complete mission "That Special Someone".
38. You Won! – 60G - Complete the final mission.
39. Liberty City Minute – 30G - Complete the story missions in less than 30 hours.
This one is easily doable if you just stick to the main story when playing, I watched all cut scenes, used taxis to go everywhere (skipping the journey), and reloaded if I died, failed or got arrested. I had a lot of hours to spare after it. The main story missions are the ones which flow on from each other, e.g. you meet Vlad while working for Roman. All of the story missions will be located on the radar, while secondary missions usually require you to ring the person up to activate them. It has been said by a couple of people this is bugged, and that it will only activate if you watch part or all of the credits, I do not know if this is true!
Multiplayer – 140G:
41. Teamplayer – 10G - Kill 5 players who are not in your team, in any ranked multiplayer team game.
This needs to be done in 1 round and before you die! As it says on any “Team” game, e.g. “Team Deathmatch".
42. Cut Your Teeth – 5G - Earn a personal rank promotion in multiplayer.
You will get this from just playing a few rounds of multiplayer.
43. Join The Midnight Club – 10G - Win a ranked multiplayer race without damaging your vehicle too much and with damage enabled.
Simple as the title says, you cannot get a single bit of damage, this is easiest imo with a helicopter race as long as you are a good pilot!
44. Fly The Co-op – 15G - Beat our time in ranked versions of "Deal Breaker", "Hangman's NOOSE" and "Bomb da Base II".
I have been informed these are the times:
45. Taking It For The Team – 10G - Be on the winning team in all ranked multiplayer team games.
I am guessing that this needs to be done on these modes:
Team Deathmatch
Team Mafia Work
Team Car Jack City
Cop’s `n` Crooks (On both sides)
Turf Wars
46. Top Of The Food Chain – 10G - Kill 20 players with a pistol in a ranked multiplayer deathmatch.
Simple enough, as the title says, this needs to be done in 1 round!
47. Top The Midnight Club – 20G - Come first in 20 different ranked standard multiplayer races.
For this one you need to win in each type of race, there are 20 different types: 16 car races, 2 boat races, 1 helicopter race and a free race. Winning the same race twice does not count for this!
48. Wanted – 20G - Achieve the highest personal rank in multiplayer.
There are 10 ranks; you earn ranks by collecting money off people you kill, or by completing set objectives in co-op for example. Hangman’s NOOSE imo is the quickest way to do this; in hard you can finish it in 3 minutes with 3 people getting you a minimum of $4500. You need total cash to be $2,000,000 to get to rank 9, so I am guessing Rank 10 needs at minimum $4,000,000!
49. Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic – 30G - Win all ranked multiplayer variations, all races and "Cops 'n Crooks", as both sides.
This needs you to win on every mode, win all types of race in both “Race” & “GTA Race” and win on both sides of “Cops ‘n Crooks”, so this will take some time to get.
50. Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie – 10G - Kill a Rockstar developer in a ranked multiplayer match.You need to kill a developer to get this one, it has still not been confirmed if this is viral or not, there are lots of people who say they have proof, but the source is quoting someone else, who is quoting someone else etc...
Single Player – 650G:
(I have not confirmed this yet, but I assume that all of the “Single Player” Achievements need to be done in single player, and cannot be done in free roam multi player due to the stat’s page being disabled.)
2. One Hundred And Eighty – 10G - In a darts game score 180 with 3 darts.
Treble 20 ImageSimple enough, hit treble 20 3 times in 1 go
3. Pool Shark – 10G - Beat a friend at pool.
Simple enough, pot all your balls before your friend pots theirs.
4. King of QUB3D – 15G - Beat the High Score in QUB3D.
You will find Qub3d machines in pubs, bars and strip clubs. The high score at the start is 10,950. It is quite easy to do once you know how to play the game, you need to get 4 blocks of the same colour next to each other, if you make a square you get a special attack which can remove a lot of blocks, you fail if the blocks get to the top of the screen, similar to Tetris.
5. Finish Him – 15G - Complete 10 melee counters in 4 minutes.
Just as someone goes to swing a punch press A and you will duck, follow it up with B, X or Y and this is a counter. Basically you will duck, and then do 3 or 4 punches/kicks if it is done right, as it say you have to do 10 in 4 minutes. A good place to do this is on the second island by the helicopter tours, fight the men in reflective jackets and the police should not get involved, if you die you can still carry on.
6. Genetically Superior – 25G - Come first in 20 singleplayer street races.
When you become good friends with Bruice you can call him up and do a race, you need to win 20 of these, there are 3 races on each island to compete in, they take roughly 4-6 minutes to complete each race so this will take a while to get! (Please note, you will get a call off him after you have finished 9 races, this is not what is needed for the achievement!).
7. Wheelie Rider – 30G - Do a wheelie lasting at least 500 feet on a motorbike.
The easiest way to do this is to get on a Faggio, then find a long straight road or runway, simply pull all the way back and hold the throttle, you can even turn slightly, I managed 3000ft with no problems before hitting a car.
8. Gobble Gobble – 10G - Score 3 strikes in a row, a turkey, in 10-pin bowling.In the first lane take 2 full steps to the left then throw the ball without altering it. It is best to do this steadily, pull back on the stick (count to 1), then steadily push forward (count to 1), you do not want to stop when the stick is in the centre, but you should notice it is in the centre (if you get me?!), the ball should go roughly 15mph at most. It is easy once you master this.
9. Driving Mr. Bellic – 10G - Unlock the special ability of taxi.
Early in the game when Roman likes you a lot you will be able to call him up for a taxi ride from anywhere. Just go out with him when he calls and you should get it quite soon. People are not getting this phone call, you need to make sure you have been someone like played darts with him, then you need to be driving about long enough for him to call you. (If you kill him or have a bad “Date” then you need to get his “Like %” up.
10. Rolled Over – 30G - Do 5 car rolls in a row from one crash.
This is hard to do, and seems that it can be glitch! Go to the airport in one of the faster cars, or a cop car (you will be surrounded by them so they will not be in short supply), then drive down the long stretches of grass next to the runway and hit the yellow signs with 2 wheels. You should then roll in the air, this will take a lot of tries, but as far as I know this is the best spot. I have just gotten this using an Infernus, it is a rare car and is one of the fastest, but it is damaged quite easy, if you have one, make sure to safe before you attempt this as you do not want to lose it!
11. Walk Free – 50G - Lose a 4 star wanted rating by outrunning the cops.
An easy way to do this, which I do not see mentioned often, is to go to an internet café and go to: www.Littlelacysurprisepageant.com you will instantly get 4 stars, now run outside and get in a car and drive away, as long as there are no cop cars outside you should have a good head start to out run them.
Alternatively go to the airport and drive down the sandy side of the runway and hit a jump into the sea at the end, you should get out of the radius if you are going fast enough.
12. Courier Service – 10G - Complete all 10 package delivery jobs.
When you have done a few missions and met Jacob you can call him and select Job in the phone, there will be a car you need to pick up and drive to a drop off point, there are 3 variants; timed, police bust and rival gang. Do all 10 of these missions.
13. Retail Therapy – 10G - Unlock the special ability of buying guns from a friend.
When Jacob likes you a lot (80%+) you can call him up and meet him, he will then sell you guns cheaper than weapon shops. Do all the courier missions and then take him out, did not take me long to get it to 80% after this.
14. Chain Reaction – 20G - You must blow up 10 vehicles in 10 seconds.
Cheats may disable this! I was on a bridge on the 3rd island and there were road works making it change to one lane (with a barrier in the middle so the other side is not connected) and I crashed into the car in front, this made a pile up of 3 cars, I then waited for more cars to come behind me and counted them to make sure there was 10. Now just run down dropping a grenade as often as possible!
15. One Man Army – 40G - Survive 5 minutes on 6 star wanted level.
Either when you are on the first Island go to Algonquin bridge and head under it, as you go just over half way you will get 6 stars and it will take the police ages to get to you as they are not able to get down there, it is possible they can get to you, and if they do carrying on ehading further, remember to notice your stars, if they are white the police can see you.
17. Order Fulfilled – 10G - Complete all 10 Exotic Export orders.Bruice will send you emails asking for certain cars, you must get a specific car from a specific location (not just any car of the same type). Reply positively to the email then drive to the car and take it to Bruice’s garage, there are 10 to do.
18. Manhunt – 15G - Complete the most wanted side missions from the police computer.
Get in a police car and press “LB” while stationary, then select the “Most Wanted” option, select a person and click locate, you now need to drive to them and eliminate all the people marked on the radar. There are 10 of these to do on each of the 3 main islands. So 30 in total.
19. Cleaned The Mean Streets – 20G - Capture 20 criminals through the police computer.
On the police computer again (“LB” when inside a police car) you can select “Criminal Activity”, select a crime and go kill all the people at the scene on the radar, do this 20 times on any island. This and “Manhunt” are not related. It is easiest to pick the criminals which are on foot, as some of them you can just drive straight into them and it is over and done within seconds.
21. It'll Cost Ya – 5G - Complete a taxi ride without skipping from one island to another.
Set a waypoint to another island (you will need to have unlocked one first) and then watch the whole journey, do not skip it! But you can tell the driver to hurry it up (Press “X”).
22. Sightseer – 5G - Fly on all helicopter tours of Liberty City.
On the second island there is a “Helicopter Tour” located on the south east corner (It should be on your map), there are 6 landing pads shaped like a T, there are not always helicopters on the landing pads though, you need to take each tour once (I only took 5 tours and got it). As the tours are not there at the same time, you need to come back at different times of the day to find the different tours.
23. Warm Coffee – 5G - Successfully date a girl to be invited into her house.
After a date you get the option to end the date or ask to be invited inside, you need to ask to come in and then go in, if successfully you will get a cut scene where you can hear them going at it. Check the stats to see how much they like you before trying this, I was like 90% and got accepted first time.
24. That's How We Roll! – 10G - Unlock the special ability of helicopter.When Bruice likes you a lot (80%+) you can call him up and he will come and pick you up in the helicopter and take you anywhere, just like a taxi. As usual just do activities with him, as well as delivering the 10 cars he wants.
28. You Got The Message – 20G - Deliver all 30 cars ordered through text message.
Car Locations
Later in the game Bruice will give you Steve’s number (If I remember correctly it is after you do a race with him), who will send you a text message with a picture of a car; you must find the car and deliver it, you are not told where the car is, you are just given a rough location! You take it to Steve’s garage which is labelled on your map (you will not get sat nav help for these missions).
29. Dare Devil – 30G - Complete 100% of the unique stunt jumps.

Find and land all 50 stunt jumps.
30. Assassin's Greed – 20G - Complete all 9 assassin missions.
When you meet Phil in the story, he will tell you to call his friend, but he will only use a hard line. You will be able to go to a phone box and ring an unknown person, he will give you someone to kill, simply do all 9 missions. This is located on the radar but does not count towards the main story.
31. Endangered Species – 50G - Collect every hidden package in the game.
Pigeon Locations with videos
Around the city you will see and hear pigeons which have a red glow (like weapons), simply kill them all. For doing this you simple get a standard annialiator helicopter spawn, this does not have rockets!
32. Under The Radar – 40G - Fly underneath the main bridges in the game that cross water with a helicopter.
Bridge Locations
Get in a helicopter and fly underneath all 14 of the bridges, some of them are very low to the water. The most South Western bridge is a bit buggy, if you fly under the curved bit which is directly above the water it may not register, you need to fly under the left section (If flying from the east to west) which is only slightly over the water to make it register if you have this problem!
33. Dial B For Bomb – 10G - Unlock the special ability of phoning for a bomb to be placed.
When Packie likes you a lot (80%+) you can ring him and he will leave a bomb for you to pick up, you can then place it underneath a car and ring it to detonate it. As usual do activities with him.
35. Liberty City (5) – 20G - After meeting all possible friends, the ones left alive all like you above 90%.
Roman, Jacob, Bruice, Packie, and Dwayne. Get these characters to like you above 90% by doing activities with them. Spoiler :If they are dead then they are not counted, so you could have just 3 friends to get to like you!
If you chose Dwayne over Playboy X then you need to check you emails and reply positively for Dwayne to become your friend (Playboy X will never be your friend).
36. No More Strangers – 5G - Meet all random characters.
Stranger Locations
There are 14 random people around the city, when you go near them they temporarily appear on your radar, walking near them activates a cut scene and sometimes they ask you to help them on a mission. If you have a choice to kill someone then they are not counted towards this, so you just need to find the ones left alive! They will only be at the places on the map at certain times of the day.
40. Key To The City – 100G - Achieve 100% in "Game progress" statistic. See my 100% guide for this _________________
Nice guide man. That's explained a few things for me.
Few things though.
Easy way to get One Man Army, is if you have access to the 2nd Island but not the 3rd then you take a Helicopter from the Tour area fly over the 3rd Island for instant 6 stars and just fly about for 5 minutes. Easy.
Teamplayer, for this you do not have to kill 5 in a row, you can die it's just having to kill 5 players. I thought it was a spree too but apparently it's not when I got it.
Under the Radar, for that one bridge that seems slightly glitched - In the Southwest of the 3rd Island - you need to fly under the bit with the Iron girders not the sorta empty bit, you'll know what I mean when you get there. SO Ryan you didn't have to fly under that bridge in the park on Island 2.
Just a couple more tips, again nice guide. <3 n stuf.
Yeah that southwest bridge is dodgey I experienced it myself, you need to go under the part of the bridge where the metal build is holding it up underneath kind of thing, youll understand when you get there and if it doesn't work just go under bridges at several places.
Also when you have gone under one bridge, press start and it comes up with a trophy icon, and it shows you all the bridges remaining you need to go under.
