If you haven't heard already L4D is getting a nice free piece of downloadable content which is set to be released on the 21st of April.
The content includes the addition of Dead Air and Death Toll to the Verses mode and the addition of the new survival mode. Survival mode is basically the same as Nazi Zombies in CoD5. You and the rest of the survivors have to hold out for as long as possible in a small area littered with Jerry Cans, Propane Tanks, pipe bombs, Molotov's ect... . You get medals based on how long you can hold out; gold is achieved at 8 mins however a team of Valve's best haven't been able to hold out for more than 9 mins! Special infected do spawn in this mode (all apart from the witch) and scarily it is possible for 2 tanks to spawn at the same time along with other infected
Depending on where you read there are going to be 12-16 maps available for the survival mode. All of these maps bar 1 are taken from the campaign mode. The only new map, lighthouse, is said to be the most difficult of them all.
So how many people are up for L4D on the 21st? _________________ Grab life by the horns, kick it in the balls and when it stands up to fight make sure you have the bigger axe!
